Hi, I’m ADI AMAR.
My yoga journey began in 1994, sparking a lifelong exploration of yoga and meditation practices that has shaped my path since the age of 14. I have been teaching yoga since 2001, blending a holistic range of well-being practices to ignite a passion for the practice and guide each student toward their own unique path of fulfillment. My vision is to awaken the energy within us all, offering accessible practices and tools that meet you exactly where you are on your journey.
Whether you seek to deepen your meditation practice, alleviate physical discomfort, find balance, enhance your breathing, or share your own teachings with the world, I am here to walk alongside you.
I am profoundly grateful for the guidance and support of many incredible individuals on my path of self-discovery. My deepest appreciation goes to my beloved family—my mother, Lana Bloch; father, Levy Amar; husband, Bernie Tkaczyk; son, Matteo Tkaczyk; and brother, Shalev Amar—for the invaluable lessons learned through love and connection. I extend my heartfelt thanks to my esteemed teachers, including Baba Hari Dass, Sadhguru, Ulla Lundgren, Tim Miller, Bhavani Maki, Nicki Doane, Eddie Modestini, Mary Obendorfer, Eddy Marks, Richard Freeman, Paul Grilley, Lorin Roche, Camille Maurine, Joe Dispenza, and Sianna Sherman, whose wisdom and light have guided my yogic journey. And to life itself, for every experience that continues to bring clarity and purpose to my path.
My Approach TO PRACTICING YOGA AND MEDITATION
The journey towards well-being and wholeness begins with a single step—the path itself is the goal. With each step, we cultivate and nurture our well-being, transforming the journey into a joyous adventure rather than an arduous task. Embrace the unknown with curiosity and excitement, for every stride brings us closer to vitality, connection, and fulfillment.
COMMITMENT
You're worth it! Consistent practice with compassionate awareness is the key to reorganizing and unraveling old physical, mental, and emotional patterns and tendencies that influence how we operate and experience life.
Committing to our commitments to self-care is an act of self-love and allows us to show up more fully in our lives for the greater good of all.
LUXURIOUS fun
Yoga and Meditation can be fun and luxurious. It doesn't have to be serious and rigid. The beauty of these teachings is that they evolve with you. This practice is not about fitting yourself into someone else's mold, it is about discovering what fits you so that the time you set aside for yourself is nourishing, invigorating and fun! With an open heart and a curiosity to learn this process is uplifting, luxurious and fun!
